Slain 8YO’s Family Reacts to Declared Day of Mourning

In anticipation of the National Day of Mourning on Friday, June 23, dedicated to honoring children who have tragically lost their lives or faced ongoing hardships, the family members of a recently murdered child expressed their doubts.

During an exclusive interview with CVM LIVE, they emphasized that the government should focus on addressing more urgent matters instead. Expressing anger at Rowe’s tragic killing two weeks ago, Danielle’s relative asserts the government ought to do much more to apprehend the culprit or culprits responsible for her death and to protect the Nation’s children. She insists the day of mourning is only being done to save face, given the global reach of Danielle’s story. Watch the report:
