Some business operators are raising concerns on the rising inflation rate on basic food items and products as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
They share that sales have dropped drastically since the pandemic. Some business owners tell CVM Live, it has been a struggle for them and recent hike in basic food items, will inevitably lead to greater demand on the consumer, which may impact sales.
Despite the uncertainty, another business operator shares he’s anticipating more relaxed Covid-19 restrictions, to boost his sales. Meanwhile, President of the Small Business Association of Jamaica, Michael Leckie says micro sized enterprises must be mindful of the type of products they supply.
He adds proper management is the key to a successful business.
