Somber Mood for White River Rafters

With no raft for attraction, fun or money-making Rafters at the White River St Ann hung out on Monday along the coast which once was the source of their income. Lamenting to cvm live how the abrupt halt to their business is impacting their daily lives.

In the aftermath of last week’s demolition of several rafts by the authorities, some expressed the mental relief many get from visiting the White River. Meanwhile, one rafter who has been operating for over 20 years highlighted they are not the only ones affected. The rafters are still dismissing claims by authorities that illegal activities are happening, noting there have not been any acts of violence is death in their years of operation. Watch the report:
