St Andrew Community Fears Gang Crime

Residents of Taylor land in St Andrew are living in fear as gang violence resurfaces. This follows the triple murder of a father, his son, and their friend on New Year’s Eve in the nearby Cane River community. Reports are that the men were murdered after leaving a party.

Too scared to speak, many are locked in the confines of their homes anticipating a solution to the crime problem… On New Year’s Eve, a father identified as Issac Ashman and his son Alrick were traveling in a motor car with a friend identified as Nackyi along the cane river main road in the parish when gunmen opened fire killing the men.

The men were coming from a party sometime after 9pm. Watch the full report:
