St Andrew High School for Girls Joins Protest

Following a week of protests by schools in the rural area. St Andrew High School for Girls joined the call for better wages, staging the first Kingston protest for the week. Teachers dismissed school early today and took to the streets their drum and voices. Dr. Oneil Hall, A teacher at the institution says the government should take into consideration that even though educators took a wage freeze it was in a considerate moment.

Meanwhile, Acting Principal for Morant Bay High School, Marsha Ford Bryan says teachers are also disgruntled about the treatment of teachers resulting in the disruption of classes. Watch the report:
