Speaking with CVM live recently, the President of the St. Ann Chamber of Commerce Dr. Ransford Davidson says the chamber of commerce champions the cause for the State of Public Emergency (SOPE). The declaration of the SOPE according to the President is critical, especially in the yuletide season.
He notes an effective strategy must be implemented to properly safeguard businesses in the parish. As crime in the parish is on the rise, Davidson says more interventions are needed to curtail the scourge.
