An investigation is ongoing following the murder of a St. Mary vendor. He has been identified as Marlon Allison otherwise known as ‘Marlow’ or ‘Plowy’ of Enfield district St. Mary.
The victim was found with gunshot wounds along the Fort Stewart main road at about 9:30 pm on Monday. Further reports are that police arrived on the scene following a call from a motorist stating that a man was seen lying face down on the road.
Upon their arrival, Allison was seen suffering from gunshot wounds, he was rushed to the Annotto Bay Hospital where he was pronounced dead. A total of nine spent casings were removed from the scene.
Superintendent Simpson assures that the Jamaica Constabulary Force will do all in its power to keep crime at bay in the parish. Allison’s death marks the first murder in the district since the start of the new year.
