Two brothers who were killed in St. Thomas brothers on Thursday, November 11, have left their relatives in dismay. Family members say after an attack of arson on the homes of the deceased, men, claiming to be police, wearing bulletproof vests shot the two men.
Two men were shot and killed at their home in 10 miles, St. Thomas. The deceased were identified as 27-year-old Oshane Prince also known as Crane, and 23-year-old Swaynson Reece otherwise called Johncrow. The two were brothers from Bull Bay in St Thomas.
Reports from the police are that at around 12:45 Thursday morning, residents heard explosions. A relative of the deceased later discovered the bodies. But before they met their demise it’s understood the criminals set their Tankwell Road home ablaze. The men were not at home. According to the relative, the brothers were killed upon their return by men from outside the community. While their faces were not seen the perpetrators were allegedly wearing bulletproof vests.
The relative says Prince and Reece were hardworking members of the community and were not known to be involved in any nefarious activity. The family is awaiting further details as the police continue their investigations.
