A family and an entire community are mourning the loss of a 15-year-old boy who was the victim of a fatal crash recently. The pillion passenger survived the accident but was badly injured.
What on Tuesday was intended to be a quick errand with two friends, turned out to be a tragic accident that claimed the life of fifteen-year-old Christopher Miller; a teenager known and loved by his Duhaney Pen Community in St. Thomas.
Reports are that at about 1pm, Miller was hit off his motorcycle on the Prospect Main Road in the parish. He was later taken to hospital where he died. The tragedy has left Miller’s relatives and community grieving, as they battle with accepting the unfortunate reality.
Miller was a student of Sea Forth High School and a member of the school’s football team. Both schoolmates and members of his community describe him as a jovial and helpful person, who was a skilled football player. Watch the report:
