As Jamaica continues to grapple with the constant bloodletting, peace appears the last consideration when it comes to conflict management or resolution. Two people are now dead following a brawl outside Burger King in Barbican, St Andrew Thursday morning.
A video over 2 minutes in length now making the rounds on social media shows the graphic clash between a group of men with what appeared to be machetes and knives drawn. The details of a violent ordeal, that had some heard in the background screaming for the men to end the attack. A group of men managed to escape the scene in a white BMW that was waiting at the exit of the parking space but some were not so fortunate.

Left behind was one man who faced the brunt of the opposing forces, who came at him machete-wielding as several bystanders screamed and watched in horror. The lone victim narrowly escaped with his life but not before abandoning his shirt in the hand of his attacker, a man who appeared intent on taking his life.


When the dust settled, the men who remained at the drive-through seemingly panicked. Persons were heard saying one of them appeared unconscious from the pains of death as he nursed a stab wound in the abdomen. Battling in distress the man was rushed to the hospital in a black van. CVM Live understands following several social media reports that at least three injured people from that brawl sought treatment at the hospital one of whom has reportedly succumbed to his blows.
He is been identified as 28-year-old Ackeem Morgan, a carpenter of Confidence View, Kingston 6. The police have also since confirmed a second casualty from the incident 28-year-old Kaheem Harris also from Confidence View, Kingston 6.
