However, those backing Principal Calbert Thomas are advocating for his reinstatement. The allegations of financial mismanagement, which have kept both staff and parents at Seaforth High School in a state of apprehension for months, culminated recently in the removal of Principal Thomas from his position. Nevertheless, this decision has evoked strong discontent among several teachers. These same concerns and inquiries were also communicated in a letter dispatched to the school’s chairman, Dean Jones, on July 14th. The letter, bearing the signatures of 50 supporters, aimed to ascertain the reasons behind Thomas’s dismissal and the charges brought against him. The letter’s signatories argue that Thomas has dutifully served the school for more than three decades, contributing to the school’s elevated national ranking. In an expression of their dissatisfaction and to demonstrate their endorsement, a group of protestors gathered at Seaforth Square on Tuesday. See Story Below:
