Taxi operators on a particular route in St. Catherine say they are at their breaking point with the Transport Authority. The operators say they are being forced to stay on their respective routes which have poor roads; finally, they are appealing for government’s intervention.

Taxi Operator Kanute Dixon explained to our news team that the authorities have seemingly reintroduced the contrary system forcing operators to stay on their respective routes. He notes no notices were given to the operators which he says is unreasonable.

Another taxi operator says this has impacted their gas tanks significantly and is appealing to the authorities to address their concern. More details in the report below:
