What was intended to be day two of a strike among taxi operators, turned out to be just a normal day of work. After Monday’s chaos majority of the drivers decided to return to work. Nevertheless, they continue to call for the police to quit harassing them.
Meanwhile, Head of the Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch Assistant Commissioner of Police, Gary McKenzie, remains steadfast that taxi operators will continue to face penalties for improper window tints, He further stated, that the tinted vehicles are being used to abduct passengers.
