A mother is mourning the death of her 17-year-old daughter, Jalisa McGowan, after they were allegedly turned away from the University Hospital of the West Indies (UHWI) .
The mother says the hospital staff told her that they would need a proper space to provide lifesaving oxygen but said they had no room. The teen passed away at the Andrews Memorial Hospital in the corporate area after failed attempts to resuscitate her.
