Residents of Cockburn Gardens in the St Andrew South Police Division are hopeful for peace one day, with the injection of change from an unexpected source, while many lament the wars of today and the risks involved in achieving this end, they are willing to stand with their little hero. This youth advisor and young leader is bent on reducing the tensions and ongoing feuds among rival factions in his community through education and sports.
On April 8 he saw another successful sports day planned by him and a few loyal supporters of his cause. ‘Likkleman’ as he’s affectionately called is not to be underestimated…the Excelsior High Student is making waves though not without his daily challenges including his need for a proper device and storage space and funding. To help him realize his big dreams of a better tomorrow for his peers and his hometown. Watch the report:
