Thanksgiving Service Held for Slain PNP Councillor Ainsley Godfrey Parkins in Portmore, St. Catherine – the community came together to remember and celebrate the life of Ainsley Godfrey Parkins, the slain People’s National Party (PNP) Councillor for the Southborough Division of Portmore, St. Catherine. The thanksgiving service took place at the Portmore Seventh Day Adventist Church located on Port Henderson Road.
The tragic loss of Parkins occurred in his division in July of this year. It’s noteworthy that this unfortunate event took place just over a year after a JLP Councillor-Caretaker representing the same division was also fatally shot and killed. Watch the report:
