The Marella Discovery II

The public appears to be on board with the redevelopment of port royal especially with the arrival of the Marella Discovery 2 on Monday. The historic city has been transformed to bring tourist directly to its port. A  Port Royal  resident says he’s looking forward to more ships docking in the upcoming months.

On lookers from outside of Kingston made it clear that they too will be enjoying the redevelopment of the historic city.

The move also received a nod from students of the near by Caribbean Maritime University (CMU)  who were quite thrilled at the experience and is applauding the government for the latest happenings in port royal.

The Marella Discovery 2 is the first cruise in 500 years to dock in port royal and it is set to return three more times before April.
