During a recent presentation in the Upper House, Opposition Spokesperson on Education Senator Damion Crawford says under performance at the CSEC level might have been a challenge for individuals who want to become a member of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF). He notes there was a major decline in passes between 2017 to 2022 in especially Mathematics and English Language. The Senator says failure to attend school as well as sufficient resources are result in the negative impact.
He notes there is a significant decline in CSEC Mathematics and English Language passes between 2017 to 2022. The Senator adds the inability to reason logically, is a significant contributor to Jamaica’s crime problems. The Senator also contextualized data revealed from the Ministry of Education on students’ academic performance. More details about this story here:
