In this Panel Discussion, we discuss the role of the church in vaccine rollouts. We examine whether or not Christian beliefs should interact with vaccination rollouts? Additionally, we will assess the following questions: Does the church have the responsibility to counter negative views about the COVID-19 vaccine? And what role can the church play in the expected public education campaign surrounding the rollout of the vaccine?
To have this discussion, we are joined by the Immediate Past Chairman of Jamaica Umbrella Group of Churches, Reverend Conrad Pitkin and Reverend Devon Dick of the Boulevard Baptist Church.
