Valentine’s Day in St James was a violent one for members of the security force, as the parish recorded three murders and the injury of one person. Two men and a woman were gunned down in three separate incidents. Dead, are 47-year-old craft vendor of Norwood, Aretha Clarke, and Albert Reid otherwise called Tony or Jack, of Roehampton. Clarke was found minutes to six Tuesday, wrapped in a towel in the front passenger seat of a blue crown royal car with what appears to be gunshot wounds to her head.
Meanwhile, Reid was slain in traffic while operating a Toyota motor vehicle. Reports are, a female passenger was injured. She was admitted to the hospital in stable condition, while Reid was taken to the Cornwall Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The suspected shooter escaped on foot. The third victim is said to be a male in his thirties, about five feet 6 inches tall with a dread loc hairstyle.
At the scene of his death, a nine mm spent casing, one live nine mm round, two damaged bullets, and one blood sample were recovered. These will be used in the process of gathering evidence. CVM LIVE understands preliminary investigations are underway. Watch the report:
