TODDS pushes to promote Insurance Company – President of the Transport Operator’s Development Sustainable Services (TODDS) is making it his agenda to promote the British Caribbean Insurance Company (BCIC) to drivers in order to improve their livelihood during this pandemic.
The initiative will provide public transport operators with a 60 per cent discount on their insurance.
President of TODSS, Egerton Newman says he is optimistic that this partnership will undoubtedly benefit P.P.V operators. He states that though this will not cushion the lack of a fare increase, the benefits will alleviate financial stress.
B.C.I.C’s General Manager, Michelle Anderson said after analysing the transport sector it was brought to the company’s attention that public passenger drivers are facing a financial crisis due to the pandemic.
