A request for the government to wipe the slate clean and start anew that is the word coming from the President of the Transport Operators Development Sustainable Services (TODSS), Egeton Newman. This comes after requests for a traffic ticket amnesty or payment plan was flatly denied by the government last year.
Refusing to accept Justice Minister Delroy Chuck’s offer for motorists to get loans to pay off their debts, the president says a payment arrangement is no longer a solution to fix their current frustration.
Meanwhile, Newman is appealing to the government to fix the environment taxi operators function in the Corporate Area. Taxi operators staged several protests across the island last year, calling on the government’s intervention.
