Tourism Workers to Receive Benefits

Workers in the tourism sector will receive benefits regards to being impacted by natural disasters, says Tourism Minister Ed Bartlett. The Minister was speaking at a conference in St. James.

As the tourism sector is expected to boost the economy as predicted, the workforce behind the sector is expected to benefit greatly. Minister of Tourism Ed Bartlett also said the Ministry aims to use the profits of the sector to supplement the benefits of hotel workers. He notes it’s imperative that workers are insured especially given the uncertainties of the current hurricane season. Watch the report:
