Stakeholders in Christiana, Manchester are demanding additional parking for taxis to help ease the congestion in the commercial space.

A stakeholders meeting was convened recently to assess parking issues taxi operators face.
President of the central Manchester Taxi Association Shirley Johnson says it is essential for taxi operators and law enforcers to cooperate. He notes the anticipation of new parking spaces for the Christmas season to ease congestion in the town.
In the meantime, PNP Caretaker North East Manchester, Ethnie Miller Simpson says the taxi parking issue should be viewed as a national issue.
