Tropical Storm Nana – In the last week, the country has had earthquakes, landslides, and hail falling in some parishes plus other intense weather conditions influenced by passing storms. On Tuesday tropical storm Nana formed south of Jamaica and already sections of the island are being impacted. Director of the Meteorological Services says tropical storm Nana is not a threat to Jamaica. Thompson explains that the tropical storm is now moving westward. The Met Service Director says thunderstorms will continue to impact atmospheric conditions throughout the week, but nothing alarming. And as natural disasters are happening more frequently, the country continues to battle a health crisis, COVID-19 which will without a doubt cause a devastating impact. The hurricane season continues through to November 30.
