Region receiving vaccines: Minister of Health and Wellness, Dr. Christopher Tufton addressed the weekly press conference on Thursday. He updated the nation on the COVID-19 pandemic. He says vaccination is not an option that should be ignored and it has become a suitable form in combating the virus.
Dr. Tufton says Jamaica is one of the countries under CARICOM to make payments to access a vaccine.
He also added that efforts are being made to ensure that vaccines are available in the region while they are mounting concerns of a time frame for full accessibility.
