Health Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton remains resolute, that the decision to repair the Cornwall Regional Hospital (CRH) is better than rebuilding it. In the midst of the controversy, the Minister airs his support for the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP’s) management of the sector, and the country as he reaffirms their determination to create a facility to benefit the people. That’s Minister of Health and Wellness Dr. Christopher Tufton, as he defends the work his ministry and the government, have done on behalf of the people.
Specifically relating to health care, the Minister says facilities usually have a life span of 50 years, after which they will need repeated maintenance, in the Cornwall Regional Hospital.
