Two day curfew declared in Central Clarendon: There is heavy police presence in Central Clarendon after the area was placed under a two-day curfew. This is due to the spate of killings in the parish this week. Five people have been murdered and several others injured in what the police are describing as senseless attacks on residents for a stolen motorcycle.

National Security Minister, Dr. Horace Chang announced the curfew for sections of Clarendon following a spate of murders in the past week.

He is calling for patience from the business community, following arguments that a delayed intervention may cause irreparable damage in the parish.
