Two Fatally Shot in Manchester

Two unidentified men were fatally shot during a reported confrontation with members of the security forces, during a joint police/ military operation in Bellefield, Manchester on Tuesday. One 9-millimetre browning pistol was also seized in the incident. The incident has left many in shock with one Political Representative appealing to residents to be more vigilant and proactive in steering their loved ones away from crime.

The lawmen were reportedly conducting an early morning operation when the confrontation ensued. The news sent shock waves throughout the community. Mitchell says while he was no stranger to the mothers, he encountered the young men at times in the community who appeared to be gainfully employed. The local representative is urging young men to heed the warning to avoid the criminal lifestyle. The matter has been reported to the Inspectorate and Professional Standards Oversight Bureau (IPROB) and the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM). Watch here for more details:
