Two men were killed during a police patrol in Riverton Meadows, Kingston on Monday night. Reports are that the men started a gun battle with the police which ended fatally for them.
Commanding officer for the St Andrew South Police Division Senior Superintendent Kirk Ricketts says the men are known by the police as gang members. The men were later found suffering from gunshot wounds. They were taken to the hospital where they were pronounced dead.
