The string of robberies in Manchester has not gone unnoticed by the police in the area. Over the span of two days, at least three establishments were robbed by armed men, who demanded cash, supplies, and phones from innocent workers and civilians. The robbers were able to escape without a trace, only to pop up hours later, repeating the act.
Head of the Manchester Police Superintendent Shane Mccalla says the police have not been sitting idly by, they have been putting together a task force to take action. Noting the early successes of the task force, he says two men involved in the robberies were apprehended by the police, with a firearm and other items seized.
Yet their efforts will not stop there, as Superintendent Mccalla says the investigation continues. The incidents of robbery left a trail of traumatized victims. Watch the full report here:
