The St. Andrew Central Police have arrested and charged two men with Robbery with Aggravation following an incident at the intersection Trafalgar Road and Grenada Crescent, Kingston 5 on Friday, December 15, 2023.
Charged are:
• Twenty-four-year-old Jevaughnie Bartley a labourer of Shoe Lane, Kingston 16, and
• Twenty-six-year-old Ramario Williams a geriatric nurse of Selassie Path, Nanny Ville, Kingston 3.
Reports from the Police are that about 12:30 p.m., the complainant was walking along the roadway when Bartley and Williams along with another man armed with machetes, approached him. It is reported that they held the man and robbed him of his property then made good their escape on foot in the area. A report was made to the Police and during a search of the area, the accused men were apprehended after being pointed out by the complainant. The men were subsequently arrested and charged after a question-and-answer interview session. Their court dates are being finalized.
