President of the Jamaica Confederation of Trade Unions Helene Davis Whyte says the unions are content with the government’s decision to accede to their requests in respect of the increase in maternity leave.
For the President of the Jamaica Civil Service Association (JSCA), the announcement of the introduction of paternity leave, in particular, is surprising but no doubt welcomed.
