The United States government will be investing thirty million US Dollars to support Jamaica’s crime-fighting efforts and bolster commerce. Vice President Kamala Harris made the announcement following bilateral talks with Prime Minister Andrew Holness at the white house in Washington D.C. Wednesday.
Harris notes that the U.S. will also assist Jamaica in its COVID-19 recovery efforts and is eager to partner with Holness to invest in climate resilience and renewable energy.
