Unreliable Water Supply Amid The COVID-19 Pandemic

Unreliable water supply remains among Jamaica’s many issues.

Especially in a Coronavirus COVID-19 crisis where citizens are constantly reminded of the importance of washing their hands.

Several residents have voiced their displeasure on social media platforms with hopes that the National Water Commission (NWC) will hear their pleas.

CVM LIVE spoke to the president of the National Water Commission (NWC) Mark Barnett who says he completely understands the predicament many residents are facing.

However, he explains that forced water conservation is necessary.
