Nurses Protest at May Pen Hospital Following Violent Attack on Colleague – On Monday, nurses staged a protest at the May Pen Hospital after one of their fellow nurses was brutally attacked by an individual reported to be suffering from mental instability. President of the Nurses Association of Jamaica, Patsy Edwards Henry, revealed to CVM News that the nurse who fell victim to the recent attack by a man described as mentally unstable is showing signs of physical improvement. However, she added that mentally, the nurse is struggling to cope with the traumatic experience.
Edwards Henry emphasized that the attack was not a random act but appeared to be targeted. It seems that the nurse was perceived as a threat based on her appearance. Watch the report:
