Our reporter Javine Mclean spoke to the head of the police division, who notes the challenge in getting the guns after another fatal shooting Wednesday, December 1. Commanding Officer for the St Andrew North Police Division, SSP Aaron Fletcher says the police have been working tirelessly to control crime in the division. He however notes the police cannot control the guns.
SSP Fletcher says the police have observed that these shooting incidents have been taking place in areas not common to crimes. In the meantime, he sought to provide an update on the shooting two weeks ago in which two men were fatally shot by thugs.
The St Andrew North Police say they have been working hard to root out crime in the division but notes three murders is less than comforting.
