Violent Tension in Burger Gully Community Simmered

An internal conflict spanning over two years within the Burger Gully community off Mountain View in East Kingston has claimed several lives. However, the violent tension has seemingly boiled down as residents say the community has been incident-free for the past two months.

The bad blood spanning over two years, between men in a section of the community called top Burger and Bottom Burger, has seemingly simmered, as residents tell our news team there is a relative calm over the past two months.

It has always been a blame game among the two factions…We spoke to a resident of bottom Burger who says he and his family narrowly escaped death. Fearing for his life, he refused to appear on camera and asked for his voice to be distorted. More details in this report:
