Popular dancehall artiste Adidjah ‘Vybz Kartel’ Palmer and his three co-accused, who have been incarcerated for over a decade for the murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams, will finally have their appeal heard by the Privy Council in approximately nine months. Recently, there was confusion among many when two additional grounds proposed to be added to the original four were rejected, leading some to believe that the entire appeal had been rejected. However, the attorney representing one of the men, Shawn Campbell, also known as Shawn Storm, expressed hope that justice would be served.
The Privy Council has provisionally scheduled the appeal to be heard from April 16 to 18, 2024. Bert Samuels, the attorney representing Shawn Campbell, confirmed this announcement during an interview with CVM Live on Tuesday.
