The suspect was apprehended in a search on Wednesday several parishes over. One of the main suspects in the 2021 killing of Corporal Delvin Jackson was on Wednesday nabbed in Hanover. The 27-year-old man was arrested during a joint police operation with the St. Catherine special operations and the Lucea operation support team. The suspect is identified as Tevin Passley.
Superintendent Hopton Nicholson says he will be questioned in short order. During the operation, a .3-8 revolver and three .3-8 cartridges were seized. Corporal Delvin was stationed in Glengoffe, St. Catherine, and is of a Bog Walk address in the parish. However, he was murdered in the big lane area of Central Village, where he was allegedly conducting business.
