The members say they will continue to support the healthcare workers in the fight against the deadly virus. The Westmoreland Chamber of commerce and the Rotary Club of Savanna-La-Mar have been making a concerted effort to help ease the burden on health care workers in the parish.
Vice President of the Westmoreland Chamber of Commerce Cosmond Jackson says had it not been for the dedication of the health care workers, many more residents would be dying.
