Western Jamaica Complies to Easter Lockdown

Western Jamaica has been in compliance with the easter lockdown. That’s according to police in the generally festive region during the Easter period. Police say they have had little trouble with the public in enforcing the law. 

Western Jamaica was a silent zone during the Easter lockdown, the complete opposite of a place that is not only a popular tourist destination but known for Easter holiday parties.

Montego Bay St. James the second city in Jamaica known for its busy streets and nightlife is now a ghost town with no one in sight.

The main roads had a few vehicles however, it was almost impossible to avoid the law enforcement who made it their duty to ensure drivers presented

In Hanover, another parish often flocked during the easter weekend, the parish was in sleep mode, with empty streets and no sign of movement.
