Westmoreland Custos Disturbed by Murders

The Custos of Westmoreland, Canon Hartley Perrin says he is disturbed by the bloodletting that continues in the parish. Four people were killed within 24 hours over the weekend. 

The constable who was assigned to the little London Police Station was gunned down at his bar on Chantilly Road after reportedly being robbed of cash and liquor by three men. 

 In the wee hours of Saturday morning, a 77-year-old man was shot by gunmen and his house set ablaze in Bluefields in the parish and a man and woman were shot dead in Dundee District, Bethel Town. 

Like Justice Minister Delroy Chuck, Custos Perrin encourages residents to be informers, asserting that until criminals are brought to justice, they will continue to wreak havoc across communities, without fear. Watch the full report for details:
