WHO Calls on High-income Countries to Suspend COVID-19 Booster Shots – The World Health Organization (WHO) is appealing to wealthy countries to suspend the administering of third doses of the COVID-19 vaccines until the end of September.
COVID-19 vaccine inequity is of much concern globally, as poorer countries with rising infection cases continue to struggle in gaining access to adequate supplies.
Even as efforts are being made to contain the virus, more and more variants are emerging.
