William Knibb Student Attacker Granted Bail on Condition

The teenager at the centre of the killing of another student from the William Knibb High School was granted bail on condition.

South Trelawny Member of Parliament and attorney, Marissa Dalrymple-Phillibert appealed to Jamaicans to do more to help raise the nation’s children. The teen who reportedly, fatally stabbed another student earlier this week in Trelawny made his first appearance in the family court on Friday. That was when the court granted him bail on condition despite not outlining those conditions.

Police had charged the youngster with murder for the stabbing death of 16 year old Khamal Hall, a grade 10 student and footballer at the school over a so called ” guard ring”,

The deadly incident unfolded during the lunch break.

Attorney representing the murder accused, Marissa Dalyrmple-Philibert says the 16 year old is to return to court on May 10. Dalrymple-Philibert bemoans the unfortunate incident which has left two families grieving. The attorney and mother went further to charge the Jamaican people to do more for the nation’s children.
