Political commentator and Attorney at Law Michael Williams agrees much work is needed if the favorability, of the People’s National Party, PNP, revealed is to be maintained. He believes the scores are a result of people being angry with the Andrew Holness lead administration due to the hike in salaries among other issues.
Reacting to the poll findings political commentator and attorney at law Michael Williams says the PNP will have to redouble its efforts, despite the polls finding them in the lead while simultaneously giving the JLP the edge since he believes money was spent to mobilize voters in a low polling environment. Williams agrees if they should maintain the 5% lead that the polls revealed, some internal checks are needed though he says he cannot gauge voters’ apathy all the time, he believes the PNP should capitalize on strategies the JLP used previously.
