Woman Dead After Mini Bus Plunges in Rio Cobre River

A woman is dead following a motor vehicle collision near the Bog Walk Gorge in St Catherine Tuesday. Meanwhile, one local government representative is calling on the authorities to implement proper infrastructure to prevent fatalities in the area.

CVM LIVE understands that the black station wagon collided with a minibus that caused it to plunge into the river. In the meantime, Everton, a resident in the area, tells our news team often times when these incidents occur he is the first to render assistance. 

Meanwhile, Councilor Patricia Harris for the Angels Division while imploring motorists to take caution when traversing the gorge, is also appealing for renovation of the gorge.
