It’s a sorrowful day for the family of a 24 year old woman who was gunned down earlier today at her mother’s business place off St. John’s Road, St. Catherine. She was swarmed by gunmen and shot several times.
Tragedy struck in red pond, off St. John’s road as twenty-four year old Sharain Stephenson was shot and killed at her mother’s business place Friday afternoon. Reports are that Stephenson was approached by several armed men who shot her multiple times, once in the face.
The victim’s father, Andsome Stephenson says he was bewildered when he received the news. He says he’s still in disbelief about the gruesome killing. Stephenson is blaming the removal of the Zone of Special Operations (ZOSO) for his daughter’s killing. He says crime and violence are kept under control whenever the ZOSO is implemented in the area.
Efforts to get a comment from the St. Catherine North Police Friday proved unsuccessful.
