Woman Receiving Care at KPH Following Media Scrutiny

Frustration relieved this evening, as a daughter who alleged her mother was not being properly cared for at the Kingston Public Hospital, has had her discomfiture relieved. The situation was however on Tuesday addressed, after much public outcry and meeting with hospital officials. The distraught daughter, Claudette Grant, says the hospital has now made available an ambulance and nurse to traverse the patient to the MRI appointment on Thursday. 

The hospital has also rescinded its position to have the patient discharged, as she still requires medical care. Questioning why it took media reports for her mother to be attended to, Grant is calling on the Minister of Health and Wellness, Dr Christopher Tufton, to visit the facility and improve its resources. Watch the report for more:
