A domestic dispute yesterday in Hanover has left one party in the hospital in critical condition after being set ablaze while the other is allegedly on the run.
Residents are shocked at how quickly the dispute escalated and condemn acts of domestic violence that continue to make their way on the airwaves.
Up to news time police communications say there were no updates.
Businesswoman 43 y o Nicola Clarke of great river St. James was allegedly set ablaze Wednesday afternoon by her common-law husband after a dispute between them.
Residents say the accused left from the altercation and later returned dosing the shop in gasoline where Clarke was and lit it.
Many residents who witnessed the situation say the couple is known for having many quarrels. The residents also refrained from doing an interview.
CVM Live understands there have been several altercations that become violent between the two but have never been reported
It’s understood residents put out the fire and rushed Clarke to the Noel Holmes Hospital.
However, she was later transferred to the Cornwall Regional Hospital (CRH) because of her critical condition.
